Week 1 term 4

Kia Ora everyone. Just a few messages for you.

HATs  are compulsory this term. Please make sure they are named.

The HOME LEARNING sheet can be found in the newsletters and notices section above. It is a screenshot so it might be a little difficult to see. I am having trouble uploading documents to this blog, but once I can it will be much easier to view.

We will be tackling the Rising Stars garden area this week with the view to getting it ready for us to sit outside and read in, as well as getting our vegetable / flower / weed garden ready to plant. We aim to grow some vegetables that we can use for a shared lunch. We are also looking to 'beautify' it with some flowering plants etc.

If you are able to help out in any way (have a couple of spare lettuce seedlings, an extra flowering plant / bulb), we would love to hear from you.  

Monique, our chief building and construction guru, will lead the design and construction of a BIRD HOUSE / PLATFORM to be placed in the middle of our native bush garden.
